.: EVENTS :.
Each month, we will have an event going on. Each week there will be a new objective or prompt for you and your Pokemon to participate in. Most of the time, these events are just in place for fun and to perhaps to push you creatively. However, there are some months where a special Pokemon may be offered, an Uncommon or Echo Variant! These Pokemon are exclusive to the Echo Region, and can only be obtained through special means.
While each objective and event may have a set of “Special” rules or bonuses, here are specific rules and guidelines to follow:
- All Pokemon that participate in the event must have a reference sheet that has been accepted into the group.
- All participating Pokemon must have their reference sheets links in the artist's comments with a breakdown of their levels.
- Artwork must consist of cleaned and colored sketches AT THE MINIMUM - backgrounds and shading are optional (examples: Example 1 and Example 2).
- Stories must have a minimum of 200 Words.
- Artwork and Stories must be submitted to the group in the folder labeled “Events” before the deadline to be considered. Make sure you also link your art/story to the events journal before the deadline, otherwise it will not count.
- As a bonus, in each event, participating Pokemon will also get +2 levels! If you include your trainer, you can award +2 levels to ONE Pokemon involved in your entry! If you collab with another member, you can award +3 levels to ONE Pokemon involved in your entry!
.: MEMBER-RUN EVENTS :.
Here at Adventures, members are also allowed to run events! These can take place at the same time as main events, and have a few things to consider:
- The Event must be at least two weeks long.
- Only one Member run event can take place per month.
- Members may collaborate when putting together events! Just let us know who so we can credit accordingly!
- You may split up the work however you want. You could, say, have one write the journals and another do art/design. Or you could just help put the story together! Just let us know!
- The mod team will provide prizes, you just have to send us your list of participants at the end of each week!
- Each week you must also send us a Stash or Google doc with the next prompt, so we can put it up as a group journal for you!
- You can design an official Echo Variant for your event! Each host will be rewarded with one of their own Variants after the event concludes, regardless of whether they participated in objectives.
- Be sure to run the design by a mod to check it!
- Member-run events have the same art and literature requirements as regular events.
- The host can also select one or two pokemon types per week to receive a +2 type bonus, also member-run event pieces receive the usual +2 event level bonus.
- It doesn't have to run on the same time frame as the main event. Example: The main event could start on Monday and the member event start on Wednesday.
- Members still must have at least a week to complete the objective. Your objectives could last two weeks if you'd like, just make sure it concludes before the month's over!
- Priority will be placed on the main event, so please don't make us have to chase you for info. This can result in your event being closed down!
- Member-Event submissions also go in the Event Folders.
.: Prizes :.
All Prizes are selected at random using a roller built into the group's google docs. This is to keep it fair among members. For events, items are the default prize.
